We named him "Crown Prince" for a reason. From day one he showed a presence that was nothing short of "regal". Out of our black AOBA Reserve Color Champion, Boadicea, he has the fiber and conformation to make heads turn. His dam Boadicea was the queen of the show circuit in 2000 with folks waiting at the ring to purchase her as she won yet another blue ribbon. We made the decision to keep her as part of our foundation stock. She has rewarded that decision time and time again with Champion cria. She is dam to Highland Oberon, a Reserve Color Champion and multiple blue ribbon winner (including AOBA), The Scotsman, a black Reserve Color Champion and multiple blue ribbon winner, and Highland Boudica, a multiple Color Champion.
Crown Prince has combined the best of his dam and sire to be an example of the fineness, density, crimp, and conformation. Finishing first or second in shows all over the MidAtlantic and Midwest,we believe that he is certainly one of the finest Peruvian gray males on the East Coast.
Crown Prince has twelve cria on the ground...ten black or gray...all looking like they are destined to challenge his outstanding show career. He has produced gray out of blacks and a rose gray out of a dam with no gray or black in her background. This might be your answer to producing the "elusive" gray cria for your herd! Two of his cria have already earned blue ribbons at 7 months old. This is the time to add excellent genetics, conformation, and fiber to your herdsire options.
