Highland is 20+ beautiful acres devoted solely to raising and breeding alpacas in Pennsylvania. One hour north of Pittsburgh, we share the area with Amish farms, several small colleges, and are only minutes away from Interstates 79 and 80. Our Alpaca Breeder services include the sale of high quality alpacas, breeding to National award winning herdsires, boarding, brokering, and the sale of alpaca goods from our Alpaca Farm Store. We regularly conduct workshops for new alpaca owners and offer support for their selections well after the sale.
As Alpaca owners who plan to stay small breeders, we offer Alpacas For Sale that have been hand selected and bred for color, fiber, and conformation. Many of them are award winners and they all have award winning genetics behind them. We believe that quality can be maintained with hands-on attention to individual animal needs, discriminating breeding, and lots of love---for both our animals and for what we do.
This goal has been reinforced by our many awards from National and large regional shows. In past AOBA National Conferences, we have won a Blue ribbon each year, including the Reserve Color Champion for our black female. Check out our most recent National Blue Ribbon boys, Highland Oberon and Standing Ovations.
We have added exciting genetics and color options to our herdsire row. With fawn Accoyos out of Legacy and the Victor line we are able to offer herdsires for every breeder's needs.

HIGHLAND ALPACA joins Alpaca Elite
Based on our Championship awards at shows, we have qualified as one of the top 200 breeding programs in the U.S. Even better news is that our ranking is actually in the top 1% in the country!! Great genetics and well bred females have been our philosophy from the start. |
